Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts (BLCA) is a nonprofit community art center in Fridley, Minnesota.
History
Established in 1979, it was known as North Suburban Center for the Arts.
In 1988, the Art Center outgrew its original shopping mall home and settled in to the historic former Tavern and farm house–the Banfill-Locke house–on the Mississippi River in Fridley.
BLCA is a public/private partnership, owned and maintained by Anoka County through its Parks and Recreation Department.
Hours
The galleries and the gift shop are open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm.
There is no admission cost for the Art Center galleries or the surrounding park. Parking in the adjacent lot is also free and handicapped parking is designated.

The bus stop, when heading north, is at Rice Creek Way and is directly across East River Road from the Art Center.
When coming south, the stop is in front of the Banfill Building.
The ride from downtown Minneapolis takes approximately 20 minutes.
