Cabbagetown is a novel by Canadian author Hugh Garner first published in 1950.

It depicts life in the Toronto neighborhood of Cabbagetown, then Canada's most famous slum, during the Depression.

The novel's focus on the victimization of the worker reflects Garner's socialist roots.

It was published in abridged form in 1950, and in an expanded edition in 1968.

The Intruders, a sequel depicting the gentrification of the neighborhood, was published in 1976.
