Download
Download the Magento Community Edition:

Select the Full Release version. This is the latest stable release.
Select format for your operating system:
- .zip - see Zip (file format)
- .tar.bz - see tar (computing)
- .tar.bz2 - see tar (computing) and bzip2
Upload to web server
