In WordPress, a Custom Post Type is a variation on the standard WordPress Post.
Description
A Custom Post Type has its own name, which appears in the WordPress Dashboard menu, and its own set of associated Posts.
Custom Post Types are used for a wide range of purposes. For example, an e-commerce system might use a Custom Post Type named "Products".
