Common uses for PHP includee:

  • Generate dynamic page content
  • Create, open, read, write, delete, and close files on the server
  • Collect web form data
  • Send and receive cookies
  • Add, delete, modify data in a database
  • Control user access
  • Encrypt and decrypt data
