An HTML editor is a computer program for editing HTML.
Although HTML can be edited using any text editor, specialized HTML editors can offer convenience and added functionality. For example, many HTML editors also provide features with related to CSS, JavaScript, and other technologies.
Some HTML editors communicate with remote web servers via FTP and WebDAV, and with version management systems such as CVS or Subversion.
