The Electro-Magnetic and Mechanics Intelligencer was an 1840 newspaper published by Thomas Davenport, inventor of the electric motor.
Description
Published in New York City, it was the first newspaper printed on a press run by electricity.
It was also the first American periodical devoted to electricity and the world's first electrical technical journal.
