Sam Golden (May 20, 1915 – March 11, 1997) was a paintmaker.
Life and work
Golden started his paintmaking career in 1936 at Bocour Artist Colors with his uncle Leonard Bocour.
Between 1946 and 1949, Bocour and Sam Golden invented a solution acrylic paint under the brand Magna paint. These are mineral spirit-based paints.
