The Interactions Gallery is an arts initiative of the British Human Computer Interaction Conference.

Description

From the website:

The Interactions Gallery seeks submissions from creative practitioners, artists and HCI researchers alike.

The call is anti-disciplinarian in nature with the goal for each piece to invite and provoke open discussion about the conference themes, the nature of computers in society, and the future of HCI. The Interactions Gallery welcomes a diversity of work, including fine art, performance pieces, interactive media design, demonstrations and technologically augmented live experiences.

The Gallery will form a curated event, taking place during the drinks reception on the opening evening of the conference. The event will be documented in a feature article to be included in the main conference proceedings. Accepted submissions will need to be installed before, and removed after, the Interactions Gallery event; and this is the responsibility of the exhibitor. Attendance at the reception is also required of exhibitors with complimentary entry. Attendance at the main conference is encouraged and available at the standard rates.
