An element is a fundamental unit in HTML.

The HTML language is made up of a set of elements, and rules for using element.

Elements are the basis for tags.

In an HTML document, tags represent elements.

One Tag, Two Tag

Some HTML elements require one tag:

Most HTML elements require two tags: an opening tag, and a closing tag:
