In orthography and typography, letter case (or just case) is the distinction between:
- Larger upper case letters (also capital letters, capitals, caps, majuscule, or large letters)
- Smaller lower case letter (also minuscule or small letters)
Writing systems
Some writing systems use letter cases; others do not.
