TextWrangler

TextWrangler is a free text editor developed by Bare Bones Software.

Description

In 2003, Bare Bones introduced TextWrangler as a commercial text editor. This version was an enhanced version of BBEdit Lite, which ceased further development.

TextWrangler 2.0 was subsequently made available free of charge.

BBEdit

BBEdit is a proprietary text editor made by Bare Bones Software, originally developed for Macintosh System Software 6, and supporting Mac OS X.
